Details: 1985 BMW E30 318i TWO DOOR FIVE SPEED. runs and drives. gas tank has been vatted and new fuel pump installed, new fuel filter, thermostat, temperature sending unit, new windshield wiper motor. New battery and alternator rebuilt thanksgiving. Tires are in almost new shape but they have a small vibration at fifty five. there are two spares in the trunk. It has recent Monroe gas charged struts and shocks. The car handles great. the sunroof works as it should both directions and flips up for the ´moon roof´. it has a new CD player (with remote) with new speakers. We purchased a 525i to replace this one for my son to go off to school. My wife says this one needs to go. The bad is fuel sending unit needs to be replaced. The odometer quit working (211000 miles. typical for these cars) so the exact mileage is unknown. The passenger window does not function (i have not diagnosed(switch or regulator)). The AC has not been hooked up since I have owned the car. It does not have a belt on it so I do not know the extent of the repair (expect the worst and hope for the best). Interior is tired but has seat covers and the dash has a couple of cracks, needs the hood emblem. Has hail damage from last stormTHANKS. I had a new engine installed and the car painted last year. The car has good tires on it, leather interior, however it needs to be repaired as a matter of fact it has all the bells and whistles for a 1993 model. The odometer reads 164,000 miles, but the engine i put in it only had 100,000. The heater and air conditioner works, but the air conditioner will need to be recharged. The car is very dependable but does need a little TLC to make it perfect. I had intentions of fixing it back up to the way it was before, but haven´t done it so far, so I am willing to depart with it.
